The Pharmacy Summit Iraq/Kurdistan 2022 was held on September 10, 2022 in Sulaymaniyah at the Grand Millennium Hotel to celebrate World Pharmacists Day, with the attendance of the Minister of Planning in the Kurdistan Regional Government, the Minister of Health in the Kurdistan Regional Government, the Governor of Sulaymaniyah, the representative and head of the World Health Organization’s mission, along with the consulates and relevant officials in the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi Government, in addition to the presence of a large number of pharmacists.
More than 600 pharmacists from all around Iraq and the Kurdistan Region participated in the Summit, and they discussed the latest issues in the pharmaceutical sector in two panels and several different sessions to present proposals and solutions that were presented in the Summit to solve the pharmacists’ problems.
